The Galas rifle ZG 47 in 9,3 x 62 - all you need

Depends on condition. Here in Canada even beat up example in 30-06 goes for 650-800. Mint ones $1000+ for sure. And these are pre-covid prices:rolleyes:

But what did it actually end up doing in Botswana?
A good mixed bag of plains game, 286g norma Oryx performance was superb.

So this is overpriced, right? Because it comes with an old scope?

It's looks ro be in very good condition, and factory mint 9.3x62 are not overly common,if you like it buy it, as you may not come across another.

To be honest, yes. But so what? If you want it, get it. I overpaid for 2 rifles at once years ago. Will never get the money back, but I do love them. I don't buy guns to make money on. Mine was much worse than this one and so I'm refurbishing it. I also had one (in 30-06 not 9.3x62) that a friend wanted to sell. Should have kept that one as it was near mint and should have sold mine instead. Sold his for $600 including Leupold 3-9 scope. A steal. Probably could have sold mine for that without the scope. He wanted a quick sell and that's what he got but as mentioned I could have ended up with a nice ZG. Oh well.
