Our stopover in Frankfurt is almost 11 hours. I got a room at the Hilton connected to the Airport.

What about our bags? Since the stopover is 11 hours, we can't check the bags through to Jo Burg. Will we have any problems with the bows and broadheads going through customs/security at Frankfurt? Most of what I have found says that they will be considered sporting goods, and cause no concern. But I'm looking for personal experiences here. Thanks!

Ben

What is your final country destination. That makes a difference.

I suggest you check with your travel agent your airline.

I am going through Frankfurt to avoid Amsterdam. (Where they do care about Bows & Arrows)
I have not been yet, but everything I have read says the Germans don't care about Bows and Arrows.
I forgot to ask Hans this one on my own behalf. I must not be worried yet.
I'll let you know what he says Ben.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
