The ATN X-Sight 4k Are In & For Sale

Assume this is from the 3-14 version of the scope? Wondering what advantage the 5-20 has, if any. Don't normally shoot past 200-250 yards and that buck is sitting at 256 yards clear as day :) Guessing that is full magnification?
That picture of the buck is at 16.7 magnification. It tells you your magnification on the screen. That’s from the 5-20x unit. It’s the same scope just the 5-20x and runs $699 plus tax/shipping.

Note the also have a built in wind meter. Basically on these units you out your load in; BC, bullet weight/type, muzzle velocity etc... and it will calculate your wind age and elevation for you and set the reticle where it needs to be off of your zero. You hold dead on and bang. Plus it will record the whole thing. A simple button push will reset it to your 100 yard zero. It will also store this info for several different rifles so you can switch it from one to another without having to re-zero every time.

I own this one (equivalent).... couple years old. We’ve had fun with it. They are very capable.... like a lot of technology, they can do more than we are prepared to learn about. This goes for me & this unit. They are very cool.they are designed for night... not heat/thermal. That being said they operate beautifully during day as well. Nighttime.... I’m not taking 1000 yard shots at pigs where cattle graze. Pound for pound, dollar for dollar. The ATN got my money.

@gizmo You’re neglecting to mention the coolest features! Real-time, it can sync with an iPad so your partner in the blind can see what the shooter is viewing during a shooting sequence. Add to that, its always on recording. When it senses recoil it saves the looping recording for many seconds before and after it detected the bang or recoil. So you always have the shot and what preceded it saved.

Those are very interesting features indeed. It’s a bit big for a day scope but for low light moving into night vision it seems like a great predator and hog scope, particularly on modern sporting rifles.

That is correct! The cool thing is in these newer generation scopes they are a bit smaller and not quite a unwieldy as the older ones. I just dropped one on my AR-10 that I have for client use at the ranch. As soon as the wind lays down a bit we’re going to go zero it and play with it. I plan on videoing it for everyone.

Hello Doug,
I am Philippe from France and plan to go hunting Caprivi in 2026, Oct.
I have read on AH you had some time in Vic Falls after hunting. May I ask you with whom you have planned / organized the Chobe NP tour and the different visits. (with my GF we will have 4 days and 3 nights there)
Thank in advance, I will appreciate your response.
Merci
Philippe

Hi Walden. Good morning from England, Chris here (The Englishman!) from Croatia. Firstly it was a pleasure to meet you and Michelle - a fellow Sanderson! I have finally joined AH as I enjoy it very much. Glad you enjoyed the hunt and your write up which I read on AR was very good indeed. I am sending on WhatsApp pics from Bojan of some of the animals hunted recently. Take care and best regards. CS.
