My original thread will have more detailed report but I just wanted to say thanks to this forum for the information.

I am on my final plane from my first safari and my PH was glad I can as prepared as I did.

The practice off sticks got me 6 animals with 1 shot stops. The buff dropped on the spot, 4 of the plains game went no more than 50 feet and the warthog did about 200 yards but was down when found.

Proper bullet selection made those stops possible. Barnes TTSX for the win.

I did NOT bring rifle with a muzzle brake like the guys I did my sight in with. Their PH had them change.

I did not kill 2 bottles of vodka by myself over 4 days like the guys above.

I wore Jim greens just like PHs and that was the right sole for the ground wet or not.

I got all my cloths treated by insect shield and the only tick I found stuck me to my was on my head and was at the united club on the way to Africa from my dog.

No sling on the .375 when chasing buff.

I had a great time and let the PH set the pace for chasing the animals. I walked 33 miles in 7 days. I should have gotten in slightly better shape but next time.

The tipping thread provided great information.

Landed in ATL and was quick off the plane, wearing my boots and got to the gun room first. Game me plenty of time to grab a shower in the Centurion club.

Overall thanks again to every one and this site is great.

Look at you, a seasoned Africa hunter already. Glad you had a good time, no real issues and “fortune favors the prepared. “

Welcome home, looking forward to your report.

Don't forget to thank yourself for following/sticking to your trip plan and having a successful hunting trip. I'm looking forward to reading all of the details in your hunt report. Please make it a long one!

You have the wrong person. I have no idea what you are talking about..

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
