Thanks for accepting me into the group.
Thought I'd share a couple of pictures of my latest acquisition. Brno model 21F 7x57 mauser. Cheers.

Welcome! Certainly glad to have you here with the rest of us!

So, you start your first post with a rifle that makes all the rest of us green with envy?
Just kidding, and welcome. Nice rifle though, for real--a classic in the best caliber.

Welcome to AH

Haha, thanks. l did actually think that pic would weed out any Brno aficionado's. That and my Mannlicher Schönauer M72 are my favourite rifles.

The Model 72 is probably the least known and unappreciated MS rifle--and it is great. I have owned 4 MS rifles, one unfired, two completely rebarreled/reworked, and one which I should never have sold. Because I already had three 8x57's I passed on a pristine Brno just like yours....still regret it. Yep, you weeded out the aficionados. lol The 21F has some of the best lines ever sculpted on a bolt action stutzen.

It's funny, I think we all have that regret selling a certain rifle. Mine was a FN Supreme. The MS M72, is just a beautiful little rifle, a real looker. Mine is the excellent little 243 winchester. I'll have to post some photos of it soon.

Welcome to the site! That's a very nice rifle in a fine caliber. What do you primarily hunt with it?

BTW, you do realize that you haven't actually been "accepted" until you go thru The Initiation, right? :A Outta:

Thanks. As long as the initiation doesn't involve having any part of my anatomy cut off, or stretched to breaking point, I'm ok with it, lol. In Australia, feral animals are high on the agenda, being, goats, pigs, deer, fox, and cats. I'll be heading out on a goat hunt soon hopefully.

Jake, Sorry to bug you again. I was wondering if you could share a. couple actual pics of this crossbow with me?

Xpedition Archery USED Scrapeline390X Sniper Gray Crossbow XACW1001 - Light Wear - Needs Bolt/Arrow Guide Spring UA5689

If it is in a decent shape, would you be willing to sell it for $100 shipped? IS it missing the retention spring that goes over the bolt?
Thank you Ferenc
