Ten days trip. Day two

Here is a pic of where all the fish are stored.

No boat will allow you to clean your own fish on the boat. They have holding tanks with chilled sea water and they add salt to it. Not sure what that system is called. But once the boat gets back to dock, they have several fish processing companies waiting there for you or you can take your fish's whole home to process. My last 10 day trip I ended up 414lbs of filets!
I was just curious, in the gulf we can gut or bleed fish but they must be landed with fins intact and the head on. Thanks

That's dressed weight not live? If live, then that fish is worth over $30k? I don't know much about tuna values but you hear of those crazy Japanese values where a big fish might be hundreds of thousands $.

That’s based on fat content? And those numbers are full retail. Wholesale it’s about 7$ per pound and up from there based on fat for the bluefin. Yellowfin is about 5$ wholesale

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
