Tell me why buying a Rifle chambered in 6MM Remington is stupid

I only lost one moose with my 6mm. And that was MY fault. I still say it's incredibly underrated.
On a side note, with the grizzly talk above, what do you guys think the required energy is required for such a beast? (NO, I'm NOT considering a 6mm!!!) :A Whacky:

As far as Alaskan brown bears go (it's not been legal to hunt grizzlies in the lower 48 since 1973 I think) I defer to Phil Shoemaker who has on many occasions said the 30-06 is a reasonable minimum. Having seen and killed one up close with a 375 H&H, I think with good shot placement and a premium bullet a 180g to 220g bullet in a 30-06 should do the job. The closer you are, the smaller it will seem though.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
