Tell me about your Shadow

Dogs have a priority scale for car seats. The driver's seat is the highest priority, the next one is the second front seat (navigator).

Yes, they seem to assume that their human has chosen the best spot, so as soon as its available, thats where they want to go.

Our girl has done that as a pup, and still does the same thing today. Wherever the human was must be the best, so I want it.

Good to see the GSPs putting on a good showing here (y)

Mine's loyalty has hit it's limit today - I'm out in the shed reloading like an idiot in the freezing cold, while he is inside monitoring the fire.

The Jack Russell tracking dogs in South Africa would sit on gun cases and hang out in the hunting vehicles so they wouldn’t get left behind. I loved their enthusiasm

Reminds me of my hunt at Game 4 Africa. Mike the tracker always made sure Rocky got on board when we went out.

Always thought that Jack Russels are a big dog attitude in a little body. We all love our girl Maggie who was a Jack Russel, but now we have our GSP Remi, and the whole family is besotted with her.

Well, my “shadow” passed on earlier this year. Beanie was my hunting partner and a constant companion for the past 15 years. Thankfully I have her images engraved on my shotgun to remember her.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
