Taxidermy recommendations

Welcome to AH! A lot of research is needed before a decision can be made on this one. There are a lot of taxidermy places in Wisconsin that do African mounts. All you have to do is visit a local SCI chapter and they will have plenty of ideas for you.

Hi Everyone,
I’m excited to be here! We are looking to book a Namibia Hunt specifically for Kudu and Gemsbok in 2021. I’m looking for recommendations of taxidermists and thoughts on getting the animals (hides and horns) shipped back home. I’ve read a bunch of comments on different posts but am still unsure. I call Wisconsin home so any thoughts or experiences on African taxidermists in the Midwest along with outside resources anyone has had great successes with would be greatly appreciated.

Hello Jeremy Dersham,

Khomas Highland Hunting Safaris of Namibia, welcomes you to the greatest forum on earth.

Best regards,
Paul.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
