Taxidermy For Sale

Hello a.h members i have unfortunatly had to downsize houses and as such i have some taxidermy that will not fit so i am looking to sell the following animals. livingston eland,common waterbuck,gemsbok,and a southern greater kudu. All animals were taken in namibia in 2015 and mounted by world class taxidermist Brian Dobson of artistic taxidermy in 2017 i am located in alberta and could deliver anywhere in western canada thanks for looking

Sorry folks i forgot to put prices in i am asking $3000obo for the eland,$2700 obo for the kudu, $2300 each for the gemsbok and waterbuck thanks.

Thanks guys for the kind words not all bad im going for buff,bushbuck,klippie,serval and caracal with Dawie Kemp next year just have to do a european on the buff the rest i have room for so anything i get sold will go towards the next adventure.

Have you considered lending them out? I have stuff hanging in other peoples hunting camps because I don’t have space for everything but I will trade some out now and then for the stuff in my house or office.

Sporting goods stores love that kind of stuff to be hanging on their walls with a plaque saying who it was that shot it.

No money in it but in the end the trophies are still yours.

Other than that do you have any home design stores in your area where they find furniture and such stuff for others homes? I know that in my area here in the US there are some that would go nuts for those trophies.

I have considered putting them on loan and may end up doing that i have some stuff on loan with a museum already.secretly im hoping it doesnt sell im working on the wife to let me put it on floor pedestals but i have to admit she agrees to and admires alot of taxidermy already so see what happens i guess.

That's a crying shame...those are some beautiful trophies and excellent mounts! I'd like to encourage you to try to hang on to them if at all possible. A lot of wonderful memories right there.
