Targeting Big Kudu in Mpumalanga Mountains

When do Kudu typically rut in Mpumalanga and Limpopo?

Looking to target big Kudu on my next trip over and interested in input on the best time to go. We will be glassing bulls to find the right one and plan on being very selective. Previous Kudu hunts have all taken place in the North and East Cape in June which I was told was post rut.

You’d need to outfitter about best week in a specific area, but kudu rut is generally month of May.
