I'd like to take a 375 Weatherby to Africa but the ammo will say 375 H&H. (I want to use H&H brass due to the cheaper pricing.) Will I have customs problems if I do this? :confused:I have seen that it is required to have correct boxes and such. Just wondering if this would be a red flag.

Jamie, Only ammunition for the specific caliber(s) you are bringing may be imported, you will not have an issue.

so the specific cartridge does not make a difference but the bore diameter is what they are concerned with? I am going to make 375 Weatherby by fire forming 375 H&H brass and just wanted to be certain that the headstamp won't make a difference in customs. Thanks.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...
