...my little 1894 16 inch carbine . Now as have only bout 30 rounds for it as appears non in zambia I have been keeping it on the back burner so to speak...but thought way it handles be good for warthogs on the run, as 97% of time here they gap it even when you 2 to 300 yards away....so off we went ...tap on roof and Ernest said pig up front...I couldn't see as grass is growing a bit and leaves out on bushes etc....so took it out of the gun bag and off we went....luckily the wind was good and with a nice big termite mound we closed up...but when got around it nothing...then in front a distance away in the trees and bushes Ernest pointed....I could see it but was partially covered by smalk tree trunks and bushes...moved one way as it was looking...then back as it moved slightly..then it started to run so it was now or never....managed to get the sights on it for a second and fired....was about 60 to 70 yards and it was on the move....straight down...as we walked up stopped kicking a minute or so after....was impressed with the little rifle....
