I am sure this is a stupid question but does the mount come off?
I am looking for a scope to mount on a Win 70 Super Express using Talley Rings and would not use/want that mount.
Sorry for my ignorance but TIA for educating me.

Thanks for asking. Sorry, but this would not work with rings. The scope has a rail on the bottom.
