Does anyone have an experience with Swarovski's BT turret , I am wondering how accurately track and return to zero, can you trust them?

I am frequently in touch with Swaro Z8 fitted with ballistic turrets. (Z8 2-16x50 with BT)
My friend use it on 300 win mag, and I am zeoring or checking this rifle with Z8 from day one, and every time he changes the ammunition. I am doing "ballistic maintenance" on this rifle, so to speak
because he does not have time to spend on range.

All, in all, very good scope and systems, returns to zero, keeps zero, no issues.

Had several Z5s with turrets - never had an issue with them and found they return to zero reliably. I move away from the turrets to BRH reticle as I find it more user friendly for hunting

I have a Z5 3.5-18 W4 BT on my 6.5 Creedmoor truck gun and it has held zero and works great! Often turn it up for coyotes and back down for varmints around the house and it's always deadly.

Good to know, I am looking at Z6 1.7x10 or 2x12 x50, don't like the reticles offered, as I like a hold over reticle, but in this scope not much is available, so I thought maybe I would try the BT turret. I have a leopould 1x6 Patrol and it has an excellent hold over reticle , but the illumination does not work in daylight, so disgusting.

I have had one on my Z8 2 - 16 x 50 for 6 or 7 years

Works just fine

I have several and love them. I shoot a lot and they return to zero with no issues. If you have concerns call Swarovski's technical assist group in Rhode Island. Very helpful. I like them better than the others out there and I used all of the other top shelf optics except Trijicon.

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
