Hey Guys, check out our new hunting vehicle.....we were looking at a Polaris Ranger but changed our minds after seeing this Vehicle....a Steyer Puch Haflinger.....it was used by the Austrian army...

We have started with the modifications,we have built a hunting frame for it,with a bench seat and jerrycan holder,we are going to foam fill the wheels for those unforgiving "sekelbos" thorns.
These Puch's have amazing off road abilities....and would make animal recovery in harsh terain a bit easier....with a width of 1.3m and total length
0f only 2.9m it can go into allot of places where other 4x4's cant....it has 4 wheel drive with front and rear diff lock, and a offcamber approach of 45 degrees as well as a climbing abilities of 45 degrees......

its going in for a spray job this week, will post more pics of the project....as it goes on....

Thanx For the great site....

Donovan, thanks for the pics I've never seen one before. It certainly looks like a handy little multi-task vehicle that will get the job done!

Very cool little vehicle. Can you put an eland in the back?

Thanx Tom.....it is rated to carry 500kg,a eland may be too big,got a trailer with a winch and conveyor belt on(the trophy has less risk of getting damaged that way)that is used for kudu and bigger.....but for impala and such,no problem.....will post pics when it is completed....

Check out Steyr Puch Haflinger on Youtube....

Thanx

Volvo Jeeps

That vehicle is awesome. It would do well here chasing hogs in South Florida. I was looking at these Volvo Jeeps as a platform, but the initial cost is too high. They seem to all over the net for sale though.

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
Ready for the hunt with HTK Safaris

Hello:
I’ll take the .375 Whitworth for $1,150 if the deal falls through.
Thanks .
