Start of my Namibia Taxidermy

Bill your animals look great and the taxi is doing a wonderful job. I never realized that zebra have dewlap like
that and Eland are so fun to hunt massive animals.

Thanks and you will get to see them when we stop at the shop in july. I am looking forward to that as well as the hunt.

The mtn zebra get dewlaps like that and this stallion had a large dewlap.

Some Pictures of oryx with horns on. Hope to get a 40" bull to pair up with this 42" cow on my next trip to Namibia. Still some finish work to be done but like the overall look so far,

Picture of my 2 warthog skulls. They normally come on wood plaque but I make my own so just did the skulls. I think they came out really well.

Bill,

Whats the ETA back to the USA? I bet your chompin at the bit to get them home seeing all these prep pics!

They will be there till I add my stuff from this july. I will get to see them but I am around a year out till they are home. Adding two hunts together saves on the shipping and adds some money back to this years hunt.

Sounds good, yes I did the same thing is SA in later 2016, added 2 hunts together to save a bit on shipping.

Bill. You may want to wait until 2019’s hunt is over as well. That way you can fill up the whole plane with animals and get a discount on a full charter. Lol. I’m looking forward to seeing the monster sized addition to your house. Especially with your son’s greatly improved archery accuracy over the last month.

Your taxidermy is looking good, very good quality! Hopefully it makes it back to the USA in one piece!(y)(y)(y)(y)

Haha so funny. These could be the final hunt were I get as much mounted from. I do have a feeling the kid is going to take a bunch with how he his shooting his bow now. I think living room area is going to be turned in to the north American taxidermy room and the add on area will be all Africa.

Thank you I am very happy and looking forward to seeing it in person in july. Crossing my fingers as all my stuff has come in to me all in good shape through the shipping.

Very nice looking trophies...the Oryx horns are a bit short though!!:ROFLMAO:! :ROFLMAO:

I know there short but I think I will feel bad asking Pieter to help look for one 44" now.;) It was dream oryx for me and if I can find a 40" bull next trip I will be beyond happy. The number of oryx we looked at crazy.

Springbuck mount finished and done to my liking with the extra side body to show the side color off. To me straight on shoulder mounts just don't show the true beauty of the springbuck. Horns left natural with nothing done to them just as I ask also.

I really like that pose on the springbok, great idea!

Just a pose the shop in SA uses and I like it. Not my idea so need to give them credit but you would not believe some of the copies I have seen that do not look as good even when they had the picture to copy from.

Best way I have seen a springbuck done to my eyes. takes up maybe another 4 to 6" of space is all over a standard shoulder mount

He should be able to make one like it pretty easy. If you need pictures I can send you the ones I posted here so he can copy if needed.
