Always remember where you are sitting. Anyone heard of Africa time. I try and give some leeway on time for most PH's and Outfitters during hunting season. Just a thought.

Wheels.....I can assure you I am not standing up for anyone, my experience was non eventful regarding any mistakes on the billing, I was hounding Loodt for the invoice the night before to settle our financial obligations. Again on the last day in the afternoon I wanted to settle then, before we started packing and enjoying a few glasses of wine that evening. If anything I pushed Loodt for the invoice and believe totally that the oversight on the deposit was nothing more than being rushed to provide that to me and for us to settle.. Total time to settle the invoice may have been three minutes....for him to complete the paid invoice. The last day was pretty hectic for us all, we were leaving early and Loodt was also flying out that morning on an earlier flight than us. The manner in which the invoice was presented and satisfied was totally acceptable to me without a concern on my part. The invoice reflected an extra animal my son shot and returned with late on the afternoon of the last day. As soon as he arrived Loodt updated the invoice to reflect the charge and we settled..non eventful. I think some are trying to read certain things into some of these posts to suit their agenda. Do what you will with other posts but do not try to interpret any of my posts to suit your agenda. I have been around long enough dealing with the public to see thru questionable actions, nothing in my activity with Tootabi are in my opinion questionable....I was there, I know exactly what transpired regarding my settlement. Being in business for over 50 years I have seen just about it all, so my experience with vendors has been a bit more than the average persons.

Your final invoice is one thing and I would give him the benefit of the doubt on that. But Royal's no blood/still pay is something I for one would not expect from a professional. This is no different than anything else in life, order a burger and not get it and still have to pay? No blood no pay. Quite simple. Why is it I see Loodt has the time to "like comments" and say I will release a statement soon. Everything else said about Loodt as far as invoicing etc could and probably is a mistake. But unless there is a big hole in Royal's story Loodt has done considerable damage to his reputation here on this site.

Only saw this now. I know both Royal and Loodt, and have not spoken to either of them about this. As I also offer quite a few low priced packages on this forum I know that this issue can unfortunately lead to wrong impressions about these kind of hunts, which it should not.
Loodt, please give a response and make things right for the sake of all of us who stood up for you.

Having met both these guys I am sure this can be resolved.

Pieter it's unimaginable Loodt has only said "will issue a media statement soon". That is not the right answer. He had time to write that why not just say it was a mistake or I will make it right I made a mistake.

I too am sitting on the side waiting. My thoughts are that before Loodt speaks to the forum he should be speaking to Royal. Royal has a right to know where where it all stands before any of us.
