SOUTH AFRICA: Safari With Bosbok In Limpopo

Thanks Tim, My PH was even a little excited as he does not often see the snakes either. This is the second python I have seen in 7 safaris.

congratulations to yourself and the young fella ses .
nate certainly can hold his own , and you guys absolutely made some life long memories together , to be shared for all your years .
some very impressive trophies .
than ks for sharing your memories with us .

Thanks bluey! Nate is already talking about a return. My butt will need time to heal though!

Great report of a wonderful trip! Heck, a great start for a son to be proud of shooting an heirloom Model 70, the satisfaction of squeezing the trigger of a '95 .405 on a terrific nyala up close and personal...does it get any better? Congratulations. I have to wait until next year to " blood my .405" again and I am hoping for a nice blue bull and nyala as good as yours this time.

Thanks PB! Eland was going to be the big prize for me but as you see it didn't happen. Oh well, my boy says he wants to do this again, so maybe next time. Gotta love how the .405 hammers game. Good luck on your next trip over!

Just saw this report Ses. Congrat's to you and your son on some great trophies and even better memories! That's what it's all about!

Thanks Buff! Appreciate it.

Thanks Mike!! Maybe I will get that eland someday.

Wise guy!! Livingstone's? I hunted both L and Cape on different properties this trip.

I don't know how I missed this report? At any rate, glad I saw it. What a trip you had!!! Love the joy you got out of the boy. Awesome....

Thanks for that! It was a great time!

Cool! I love the look of the terrain. Classic bush.

LOL! Yeah, always tempted. Looks nice.

Congratulations on a great hunt with your son. Nate shot very well, you should both be proud.

Thanks, we are. I didn't shoot much but Nate shot well especially considering its his first hunting trip anywhere. It was also gratifying to see the load I worked up for his rifle work so well. Gotta love the Barnes Triple Shock!

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
