Congratulations Loodt.

Adversity, regardless of from where it comes (external or self-inflicted) can serve to build character.

My sincere prayer is that these experiences of the past few months will prove to be profitable for you.

Tim

Your all set now Loodt, best of luck during the season and look forward to seeing/hearing a few reports.

Congrats, on getting your paperwork in order. Good luck on making your business a success.

congrats on everything, looking forward to hearing about some hunting opportunities now

Like I stated waaaay back, I would sit on the side lines and watch this unfold. It looks like the issues have been resolved and we can all move on. Nice work Loodt!

i was considering a hunt for red lechwe, waterbuck, nyala, black wbeast and bushbuck and chose EC as it seems the only province that allows all these species in a ten day hunt from one area. Tootabi has been by far the most proactive and responsive in replying to me and building a very competitive package based on these species.

I am unsure now.

@alimufti PM me if you have any questions regarding Tootabi Hunting Safaris.

Everything is fine now, he has his PH and outfitter license. Go ahead and book the hunt.

Proof of the pudding is in our trip reports.

You'll be in good hands if you book with Loodt.

@alimufti let me know when I can call you and we can work something out for 2015/2016. There is enoughhunt reports to read up about our organisation and hunt weoffer.

alimufti:

At the end of the day, you have to feel comfortable with the outfit you book your hunt with. You know that as well as any of us...this isn't your first rodeo as we say!

I wish you the best in planning your next hunt. Sounds like you have an interesting mix of animals on your wish list.

Look forward to reading about it!

Tim

I can personally vouch for and HIGHLY recommend Tootabi and Loodt. I went there in April and I just sent him a deposit to go in 2017 with the rest of the family. The main reason I am going back to Tootabi is just not for the hunting but to visit the good friends I made while I was in Africa.

If you want, feel free to send me a PM and I'll answer any of your questions/concerns.

Sir, you can book with Loodt with total peace of mind.

Brushmore I think you have hit the nail on the head. When you go off on a safari you often make lifetime friends.
I look forward to meeting this young man Loodt someday because I hear good things about him and the hunts on his family farm.

Thank you will look into it thank you I am new to this so thank you for helping me
I don't think you can pm Loodt. Last I heard he was banned from the site.

For good reason, in my view.

what ever happened to this fellow?

Chopped up the whole thing as I kept hitting the 240 character limit...
Found out the trigger word in the end... It was muzzle or velocity. dropped them and it posted.:)

2,822fps, ES 8.2
This compares favorably to 7 Rem Mag. with less powder & recoil.

*PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS IS FOR MY RIFLE, ALWAYS APPROACH A NEW LOAD CAUTIOUSLY!!*
Rifle is a Pierce long action, 32" 1:8.5 twist Swan{Au} barrel
{You will want a 1:8.5 to run the heavies but can get away with a 1:9}
Peterson .280AI brass, CCI 200 primers, 56.5gr of 4831SC, 184gr Berger Hybrid.

I know that this thread is more than a year old but as a new member I thought I would pass along my .280AI loading.
I am shooting F Open long range rather than hunting but here is what is working for me and I have managed a 198.14 at 800 meters.
That is for 20 shots. The 14 are X's which is a 5" circle.
