Marius, I cant thank you enough, and Cari sends her love as well. Shes home today cooking like crazy, trying her hand at some of the food we had. The WHOLE trip, not just the hunt was amazing. As for the hunt, well I cant begin to describe how great that was and how the memories will make me smile for years.

Please pass on my thanks to everyone AND Larry too. You guys were great.

..................... I had been working on my Dutch and by extension Afrikaans;............. Bringing up the rear was the Fish and Game Officer and the Larry with his Ruger. Im sure Im leaving out some of the guys.
.......... We heard a low roar, and the guys in the back, came running up with their version of the Tiger scene from Apocalypse Now..."Its a Fucking LION, right behind us!".

"Fok, dit is 'n leeu!!!
SKIET!!!!!!!"

I can see it all now.

................. The next thing I remember was Marius grabbing my shoulder to keep me from following her up. He said, "give her a minute". ...............

That was rather nice of him.

Well I am inspired! I will now be chasing a lioness next July with Marius, hope to have as much fun as Edelweiss did!

Small world Edelweiss, I met the gentleman in the center of the photo last Sept 19 while I was hunting Common Reedbuck at the Lebenstraum Ranch in the Free State. He came in with a client to hunt wildebeest if I recall correctly.

I had the privilege of being at Bruce and Cari's wedding and can tell everyone for a fact of what a great guy he is. I went with Bruce on a hunt with Marius and KMG in 2012 and had the time of my life. My wife is going to be going with me on my next hunt with KMG and Bruce and Cari are going to go along as well. Our hunt is in the planning stages now. KMG IS A GREAT OUTFIT!!!!!!!!!
