Hello Adam. Welcome to AH! I look forward to your contributions here. WOW! You certainly got some fantastic looking animals!! You must be pumped! I bet you're already dreaming of going back aren't you? Where is home for you? Like others, I'd be interested in a write up of your time there. I've heard a lot of good things about Nick Bowler Hunting Safaris. I'm glad you had such a good time. You have no idea how many of us wish that we were there ourselves!
I still getting used to this group and trying to reply as I travel home. I’m in El Paso Texas now. I moved from Alaska about 5 years ago for work purposes
Nick is a great guide and really knowledgeable. He was a great choice for me. My hunt too was canceled at first butNick and I stayed in contact for better part of a year! Till I the flight restrictions was lifted. I took two Covid test a few days apart that keep me in compliance with the 72 travel. I didn’t want to get to South Africa and not be allowed in cause my (negative) teat was outdated.

Looks like it was a great hunt! Congrats!!

I’ve got plane tix to fly to SA first of May.
Would you share what airline you flew and routes? Just curious how cautious international travel is.
thanks for the post!!

Sure i took American Airlines from Texas to La. (don’t recommend them) but for the International flight I flew Qatar airways fro
LA to Qatar them Qatar to Johannesburg.
At Johannesburg I got on SA airline. For safety measure when you fly with Qatar airlines they will have you wear a face mask and face shield. But the flight was comfortable and nonstop beer lol.

Congrats on leap of faith and very nice animals. I’m wondering how u drink nonstop beer wearing a mask and a face shield? Welcome to AH
