Maybe I missed another thread on this topic. South African President Cyril Ramaphosa recently signed into law a bill allowing land seizures by the state without compensation. How will this potentially change the way we hunt SA? Is this a duplicate of the issues Zimbabwe went through?

I would pose this question to the outfitters and concession owners. They will know beyond the shadow of a doubt. Look into the specifics of the bill. The outfitters and farms generate a lot of revenue for the country. The devil is always in the details.

I'd like to see evidence before believing it. I doubt Trump cares what they do inside South Africa providing it doesn't impact the US economy. (And who can fault him for that?)

This very first thing that pops up in google when you search for Trump and South Africa.

Trump is both looking for righteous cause for ending foreign aid… and he detests BRICS…

South Africa has made itself a target for both..

He can claim the US should not send foreign aid to a country that is committing human rights violations..

And he can leverage the US foreign aid position to start breaking up or rendering BRICS less valuable to its participants…

This is really no different than the tariff threats…

He wants something (BRICS to fail)…

So.. if you want foreign aid, you better offer something in return for it (withdraw from BRICS or at a minimum stop any further alignment with Russia and China specifically)..

I don’t believe this is really about protecting white farmers in South Africa at all..

But if they can benefit from it, that’s wonderful…

What a great way to kick off our 2025 hunting season in South Africa.

This beautiful Impala ram was taken at just over 300 yards, took a few steps and toppled over.

We are looking forward to the next week and a half of hunting with our first client of the year.

Out of all the different color variations of Impala the black Impala just stands out with its beautiful pitch black hide.

Impala is one of the animals you will see all over Africa.
You can see them in herds of a 100 plus together.

This excellent ram was taken with one of our previous client this past season.
