SOUTH AFRICA: I Have Smelt The Buffalo

Ha! You made me laugh, that is so true about how long 10 mins on the sticks feels like, and it is so you to do the wind up! Sounds like a really great hunt. I am enjoying the chapters of your report as you have a great writing style, and of course the content is excellent. I feel like I am right there with you ready to release the shot, or some humour .... or maybe a post adrenaline poop.
Great photos too. That bush looks dense. Well done my old friend, excellent shooting.
Thanks @SammyOscarMike , glad you enjoyed my write up. Next year in Africa buddy.

Not to steal the thread, but buffalo smell very pleasant, ie you put your snout to the hide and breathe in. I wouldn't try it on a live one though.
Hahaha

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
