Some excellent trophies. Congrats
Bruce

Thanks for report, some really nice trophies. Nice to see some old buffalo and great nyala. I haven’t hunted this part of South Africa yet. This hunt really interests me.

Great hunt, great trophies and great time with your son….congrats!

Looks like a great trip! Very nice trophies!

Rickmt, Nice report and good animals taken special to share these moments and hunts with family especially one's son.

May I ask not to use words like murdered when it comes to animals being poached and killed it gives the greenies their win that animals have feelings and that they are on par with us as humans.
You can only murder a human being.

Basically someone could tell you now you murdered your trophies not hunted them.
Yes, it also angers me when rhino's are poached but we need to keep a clear definition bear in mind some people also hunt rhino and that is the only reason why they are so numerous.

Sounds great

Frederick,
To me there is a clear difference between poaching and hunting . To begin the meat was wasted . No revenue was obtained from the animal which would have sustained the rhino population on the reserve. The animal was stolen and can never be returned. The local community which depends on the reserves for their livelihood is at risk.
My choice of the word was inflammatory. That is because what was done is very wrong and cannot be justified.
Hunting at the reserve is the right thing to do . It sustains the animals .

Sorry Rickmt, if I offended you all I was saying is to watch the use of words used, you described the rhinos being murdered not poached.

I believe we should have same laws as in Botswana towards poachers shoot on site but we don't and that is why the syndicates keep taking chances.

No worries Frederik . I am simply mad about what I saw. I think we , as hunters should stand up for hunting. When we are confronted by the anti hunters and others who do not hunt we need to explain why we need to hunt the animals. I am not sure we need to be too concerned about what we call poachers. If you are ever in Bozeman Montana I will buy you a beer and we can talk about hunting !

Great report and great animals, you guys did well. Sounds like you shot pretty well which always helps!! Congratulations!

Well done all around, congratulations on some fine animals. Thanks for the write up.

Had an excellent classifieds transaction with JoninCO. A truly honest and standup member. I wouldn't hesitate at all to deal with him again. Thanks, J!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
