Hey guys
Ive hunted everything in Aus/NZ and I’m looking for the next adventure.
Im looking for an outfitter in South Africa who will cater to Australian hunters.
Someone who wont confuse me with the American tipping system, happy to pay, but just make it clear and upfront.
I’m aiming for plains game animals on my first trip. Looking at a 2025 trip. Will bring bow or hire rifle.
Also having knowledge on getting trophies in to my country is a bonus.
Thanks in advance,
Lucas

Hello Mr. Lucas
We would be delighted to have you with us.
Over the years we've had a few hunters from Australia.
Exporting trophies is no problem.

We are located in the Kalahari desert.
It is actually only called a desert because there is no surface water but we still get on average 400 mm (16 inches) of rain every year which support a wide variety of wildlife species.
I suppose parts of Australia looks very similar to the Kalahari.

Send an e-mail if you want more information from us.

Sincerely
Hans de Klerk

Hey Lucas

Good day Lucas

We have had multiple Australian clients hunts with us in the past and can most certainly help.

We have areas dedicated solely for bow hunting or if you prefer rifle we have great areas and a large diversity of species for both options.

Will send you a direct message with some more info in the mean time you can have a look at our website www.1limpoponorthsafaris.com

Yours truly
Sampie Potgieter

Lucas. You are most welcome to south africa
If you like hunting for your game as opposed to just driving around shooting, we have the place for you in North Limpopo.
We also have a small staff, so tipping, which is entirely up to you, will not break the Bank
Please feel free to email me

Good day Lucas
EC Hunting Safaris is based in the Grahamstown region of the Eastern Cape. This is prime hunting area, and we'd be happy to host you and your fellow-Australian hunters on a plains game hunt. We have different plains game packages available, which should cover your needs. However, you're more than welcome to let us know what you'd like on your wish list, and we'll tailor-make a package for you.

We have firearms available for hire, and work with a brilliant taxidermist who deals with exports to Australia regularly. The rules for Australia are a little different to other countries, so it helps with work with an experienced company.

I'll send your more info by DM on our available packages, but please feel free to contact me at any time for more info.
We'd love the opportunity to introduce you, and your hunting group, to our incredible hunting-rich country.

Best regards
Marius

Hi
From Australia myself have hunted Africa 4 times
both @KAROO WILD Safaris and @GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS have been great to deal with no hidden charges , deliver a great hunt and outstanding service .
Regards

Chris
I would second @GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS also. Excellent rifles supplied, Sako 85’s topped with Swarovski scopes. I thoroughly enjoyed my week there.
My only complaint would be that the food was too good and I slid on a couple () of pounds

G’day Lucas, I’m an Aussie also and have hunted various African destinations 5 times. What species do you wish to hunt?
Hey mate
Probably aim for kudu for my first trip and whatever little add ons, warthogs, etc.
I got a ton of messages and im currently sifting through them all at the moment trying to isolate a few top choices of outfitters.

Drop me PM.

Do people already get paid? What about the cook? Or the camp manager? Do i pay the PH more than everyone else? Is a skinner worth more than a tracker? What if a guy is nicer to me, does he get more money?
Hi Lucas. Tips are normally not included in the trophy fees or daily rates. So keep that in mind when you budget for your hunt. Camp staff, skinners, trackers etc. usually get about $10/person/day, you can always add on that for your tracker if he's worthy of getting more and PH's about $50-$150/day depending on your experience.

I know tipping can be stressful and it's no fun with the uncertainty of who to tip. What I appreciate is the outfitters I've been hunting with allow a batch tip for all the camp staff so it's easy and no one is left out. Then I just tip my PH and tracker.
There are many good outfitters on here so just ask during the booking process how and who they expect you to tip.

Hello,

I saw your post selling left hand rifles. Do you have any additional pics of the .416 Rem mag?

Thank you.
