SOUTH AFRICA: Eastern Cape Hunt With GAME 4 AFRICA SAFARIS

Wonderful report, I thoroughly enjoyed my time hunting with Game 4 Africa. Wik is top notch!

Hi, Oscar
How’s the fever?

Fever is/has been gone for quite some time. However, not sure what it is, but the infection left me a bit weak without any energy. This past Thursday I tried to play golf with some friends, and after 9 holes I had ran out of energy, so I stopped and went home. Besides that, I'm feeling good I guess, two more days of antibiotics. Thank you for checking on me, much appreciated.

That the antibiotics. My cardio and fitness always took a hit when I see used antibiotics. Will come back after it ends.

Thank you @DieJager for the info, it does make sense. (y)

Well-written and insightful report. You and your friend had a great safari.

Out of my Impala, I'm making a lamp with the legs, and tanning the skin, all for her. :ROFLMAO:

Ashtrays! You need to have some cigar-capable ashtrays made from one of your animals! Maybe the buffalo legs?

Hope that you're over the tick fever and after-effects of the antibiotics by now.

Way ahead of you my friend. :) (y) I'm making book ends from the front legs and ashtrays from the back legs. This is what I'm planning, attached pictures of an Eland leg ashtray.

Today is my last day with the antibiotics and hope to get my strength back. Thank you.

Thank you! Yes, the Waterbuck and Nyala my friend shot are great animals. I'm also very happy with the Buffalo I took and the Kudus. All hard hunts.

Well done Oscar! You are a great hunter and writer.

Scott, you are too generous, thank you sir!

So, after trying to figure out how to display the Dagga Boy Knife I received from Game-4-Africa Safaris, I think I found a good way to display it. On the way to the airport my PH Don, took me to a Curio store in Buffalo City, and I purchased the carved Buffalo. I'm leaning towards the second picture. Don & Wik, I hope you gents like how I'm displaying the knife.

The knives Wik presented to us are so nice...almost too nice to dull the blade !!

^^^ I know it, this knife will never be used.

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
