Day Two – Stripes, Spirals & Storybook Moments in the Eastern Cape
Day two of the Georgia family’s safari brought more unforgettable moments and world-class trophies. The morning kicked off with a stripey surprise—a beautiful Burchell’s Zebra, taken after a swift and stealthy stalk. The herd unknowingly walked right into us, and our hunter made the most of the moment with a perfect shot. Those shadow stripes on the skin? Absolutely stunning.
Later in the day, the bush delivered something truly jaw-dropping—a Nyala bull of note. We first spotted just the tip of his horn at over 200 yards, and the tension built as we waited for him to step out. When he did, our huntress didn’t hesitate—an incredible shot on an unforgettable trophy. The kind of moment that makes you stop and appreciate the magic of the hunt.
And just when we thought the day couldn’t get better, it ended with a storybook Kudu bull, taken at last light. After a few good laughs trying to get him posed for photos (he wasn’t exactly cooperative), we finally got him up—and the result? A photo that says it all.
Well done to the whole team—the Eastern Cape continues to deliver, and this family is making memories that will last a lifetime. Stay tuned for day three!
