South Africa Air & Airlink

We are all ready to rant thats for sure and airlines are despicable! I've had domestic flights cancelled this week and I am not happy. At least I am quarantined at a beautiful ranch with green grass, a creek that is running, a nice shooting range, and a fairly nice selection of guns to shoot. Anyone want to come out and quarantine with me? Nice whiskey and great shooting opportunities :E Dancing:
Can you give me directions? I'll bring some good single malt and a couple or more rifles!

I like that offer sir! However I’m going to stay in Kansas and open a new bottle of bourbon

I don't agree. Mango is a, how do we say it nicely, a value based airline? That means they don't do anything they don't have to in order to keep fares really cheap. They realize there is an opportunity to get more business due to SAA changes and will get the firearm thing done at some point.

Maybe sometime in the future but not now. I spoke with Mango, some travel agents contacted Mango on my behalf. Mango’s reply "Under no circumstances would we permit the transport of firearms.” Can’t get any clearer.

Maybe but can you ever believe what one person says at an airline? I mean we have ticket agents here in the US that think their airline doesn’t carry guns!
Remember when airlines enter into code share agreements things change quite often and that’s what’s happening here.
I am only trying to be optimistic here. Time will tell.

It’s Mango’s policy for years. Of course it would be great if one day they would permit the transport of firearms.

If you have a airline cancel and not refund then perhaps your credit card company can look into recovering your money. Chargebacks happen. You pay for a service and its not provided. Get the documentation to your CC company and see what they can do for you. Maybe.....

They will get your refund. I've had that happen a few times. Usually a phone call to your cc company will do it. They have a record of the transaction and when it was made.

Morning Rob, Any feeling for how the 300 H&H shoots? How's the barrel condition?

Hello. I see you hunted with Sampie recently. If you don't mind me asking, where did you hunt with him? Zim or SA? And was it with a bow? What did you hunt?

I am possibly going to book with him soon.
Currently doing a load development on a .404 Jeffrey... it's always surprising to load .423 caliber bullets into a .404 caliber rifle. But we love it when we get 400 Gr North Fork SS bullets to 2300 FPS, those should hammer down on buffalo. Next up are the Cutting Edge solids and then Raptors... load 200 rounds of ammo for the customer and on to the next gun!
