I recently went on an 8 day African safari with Adansonia Safaris with my cousin. Owner Mof Ventor and PH Stehan were wonderful. This was my first African safari and my cousin's second. The food and accomodations were great. I was able to take an implala, a 35" gemsbuck, a 58.5" kudu, and a 32" waterbuck. My cousin took a sable, waterbuck, reedbuck, bushbuck, and a nyala. We had a blast and i know this was my first african safari but i would highly recommend Adansonia Safaris. I've attached pictures of my trophies and i'll answer any questions anyone might have about my experience at Adansonia Safaris

Welcome to AH brtstew937.

Congratulations on your success.
Nice deep curls on that Kudu and a good Waterbuck to boot.

X 2

I went with Brett on this safari and it was my second trip to South Africa. Owner, Mof Venter and his PH Stehan really put us on the game. Brett had an unbelievable safari and his waterbuck was the largest one ever taken by a client in Mof's 17 years of outfitting. The 58.5" kudu was something to see and Brett's pictures just don't do it justice!! I've attached another picture because an animal that size deserves it. These are definitely gold medal class triophies.

I shot a 36" sable, a 28" Nyala, a nice reedbuck, bushbuck, and waterbuck. We had some extra time to visit the white lion park as well as catch an elephant ride.

The food was absolutely terrific and the lodge was first rate. Some of you may have read on this site that their main camp burned to the ground last year but they are back up and running with a first class outfit. Listen, we all go to Africa for different reasons, to rest, to relax, and mostly to hunt. Mof will make sure you have a great safari. I am already trying to book a return trip next year.

If you want a reference for Mof Venter or Adansonia Safaris, do not hesitate to contact either one of us. I highly recommend his operation.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
