Something a little bit different

In 2024 I got into fly fishing and caught my first wild brown trout here in the UK. In order to remember and cherish this fish, I contacted Roger Brookes who is an artist who hand carves and paints fish replicas - http://www.rogerbrookes.com/

It is not the biggest fish, in fact its the smallest carving he has ever done but I think its great.

An interesting idea. My daughter does beautiful work painting replica fish. I believe she can order small forms and the glass domes are available at hobby shops. I'm thinking she could do something like a snow globe and maybe use some fine sand instead of snow flakes. And maybe a tiny battery powered LED light in the base? Hmmm.
