Sleep Schedule

Sadly, nothing works for me. I fall asleep when my mind goes into max exhaustion. A sleep aid - not alcohol, may help.

I do long haul (15-18 hrs) travel most every month. I dose on plane getting 15 min here and there. Read a lot. On arrival day stay up until evening for location. I do use Ambien on first night and my first night home.

Lots of advice here already. One thing to consider is the value of business or premium economy. The benefit of being able to lie down makes all the difference for me.

Depending on the average day rate of your safari you can judge if it’s worth the extra money. If I was spending $1k for the day rate all of a sudden an extra 2k for a flight doesn’t seem as excessive to avoid risking being exhausted for a full day of hunting.

This takes more advanced planning but we have used a combination of miles and credit card perks to secure multiple business class trips for about the same price as economy.

I limit myself to a glass or two of champagne, drink more water on flights and sleep as much as I can!

An excellent AH member right here! I had a fantastic transaction with Hornedfrogbbq (I was the seller). His communication was first rate, payment was extremely fast, and I would have absolutely no reservations at all dealing with him again. Thank you, F!
Here we are, the last day of the show in Denver, it's been a good show but expecting a quiet day today. I will be back for-sure to do this show next year and maybe also do the one in Sacramento California.

On Monday I will be hitting the road driving from Denver and eventually make it down to Atlanta for the flight home.

its going to be a good year!

Hi Rem280, Saw your post on getting selected for Idaho Elk. Do you have a zone(s) selected? I live in N Idaho, might be able to offer some ideas.

Cheers,

Craig
