Siberian bear hunting armor

This seemed interesting. In the 1800s they wore spiked suits for bear hunting. Said to prevent a bear from grabbing or mauling the hunter. Im sure with the weight, it was most likely used to bait than to hunt with. I cant see running through the forest in this !
