Aussie, probably a dumb question…. Is that a wood upgrade, or did you get very lucky with yours?

Great gun.

Congratulations on such a stunning rifle. The figure truly is gorgeous. I miss the red in their oil, but have to agree that the lighter caramel colors seem to accentuate the grain more.

Some bloody nice bulls right there taken with a stunning rifle!
Thank you. How’s that 450 Rigby PH treating you? Still loving it? Starting to get an itch for a 450, and kind of leaning towards the PH SB where I’d run it solely open sighted. Same time wonder if I’m not being too duplicative since the 416 seems to cover everything I’d likely point it at, except maybe an elephant, which is on my list in next couple/three years. I shoot my 416 often without the scope but have only hunted with it mounted. With the Swaro turned down to 1x and dot illuminated, I’m faster on target than open sights. If I didn’t have the option, think the extra practice would make it let so.

Just think the 450 with the SB and stepped barrel is so simplistically sexy.

Here's the target for the NorthForks - 25yds off a bag, iron sights. Hunting leopards over dogs the range won't be more than that.

Flew in an airshow in Smyrna years ago, beautiful country.

Best regards,

Franco
