Show us your Rigby Big Game Rifles

Just ordered the Anniversary set yesterdayat SCI through @GENTZ SPORTING ARMS Highland Stalker in 275 Rigby and Big Game in 416 Rigby.

@RIGBY we are now busy planning a trip over to get measured and enjoy the Rigby hospitality;)

Hey Bob, if you have any time to spare, head over to Purdey in Mayfair. Go inside and have a look at the Long Room. History all over it. The table is where they planned a lot of the Normandy invasion. Kings, queens, you name it broke bread on that table. The Royal Warrants are on display there as well.

I think those guys (Purdey, Rigby, H&H, Boss) all know each other, and IIRC Andrew at Purdey came from Rigby. Purdey is near Hyde Park, Piccadilly, a little hike to Buckingham Palace, etc. Holland & Holland is with Barretta now, right off Piccadilly.

Anyway, I’m envious. But definitely don’t just put time in at Rigby. Wonderful people, but located in a rather run down part of town.

Enjoy, and take some pictures!

@RIGBY is planning a relocation to a larger facility soon; I believe it will happen in 2025, but I'm not sure exactly where.

Thanks for the Info and @Just Gina says thanks as well! We are planning the trip and do intend to see as much of the London sights as possible:)

Contemplating a side trip to Ireland and not sure what else yet;)

Here's pictures of a couple floor plates. There is also a nice fitted case available for the pair.
You can order them separately and in other calibers. But why you would order anything other than these classic Rigby calibers? And it just seems right to order the pair with the case.

In fact on the case, we will have the Highland Stalker fit to @Just Gina and the Bog Game fit to me. Which means both will be shorter than the factory standard length. So the case will also be fitted to our rifles :)

Of course Gina must have a "Jewelry Scope: aka Swarovski and with the discontinued 30 mm Z8 1-8x24... we will take scope to be fitted. Contemplating having the rings engraved as is offered by Rigby.

We are also Contemplating whether to have our initials put on the rifles or squeezing on Gina and obviously Bob. Jerome with Rigby thought they could make the 4 letters work but we have a small amount of time to decide that.

If you do take a side trip to Ireland make sure when in Dublin to visit the Guinness Hop Store for a pint in the Sky Bar. Irish Distillers Whiskey corner is just over the Liffey.
When you’ve done these you can then stagger back across the river, maybe a pint in the Brazen Head or Fallon’s on New Row as you head for the Teelings distillery in Newmarket.
I might even do this myself some day !

The PH model however is Grade 2.
Does anyone here have a PH? I have a friend interested in one, but I am torn on my advice to him. It is a Rigby with a fine Mauser action, but there are so many other (to me anyways) nicer custom CRF rifles for a similar price point.
