Shipping ammo within the US

My local UPS Customer Service Center closed also. The UPS Store refused to ship a barrel. No rifle attached, not threaded or chambered. I asked why they said "homeland security" I replied "No" they don't have that in a policy try again....so is it your policy? No answer. I drove to another one down the road and shipped as a metal cylinder....wasn't wrong! Sent no problem. There has been an overwhelming push to change this from the inside I often wondered if someone could do well to start an FFL, ammo and parts shipping company. One thing I will say is do not ship things you should not through USPS as that is now a crime .....not just breaking a policy.

A good friend who I bought some ammo from, sent this to me.

"As of 1/1/24 ammo will only ship from dealer to dealer per UPS and FedEx. They did not say if it was Florida, their own or Federal rules."

Could be that part of FL, and they make their own rules. Or the idiots behind the counter don't know what to do. Who knows. A bit frustrating!
misinterpretation! I have shipped ammo often in 2024. I ship from myself easily to a persons home. Any franchise store will not do it at all. THE MISUNDERSTANDING is with rifles which due to new UPS rules I now only use USPS. But for ammo I go to a company owned main center, print out the decal and no problem

Unfortunately...not a "No Problem" when you don't have a customer counter for 100 miles. We still have a UPS distribution center here in my city but they closed the customer counter. I have used the pick up but I don't schedule it I just have the label on it from online and the hazard sticker and when we get a UPS package at work the delivery guy picks it up. If you schedule from home it cost $ and it like all things is not cheap.

That is a bummer and to your point that is a problem!!!

The easiest way is not to. Just shoot up all that you have.

You can have them shipped by ups ground, you will need a limited quantity sticker on the box.

Not when you are the buyer of the ammo. LOL!!!!

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
