Set triggers on Big Bore

There must be some adjustments that can be made. My CZ trigger was tuned up (not replaced) by Triple River Gunsmithing and it is absolutely great in both the single action and set modes.

I think it's just not been set up correctly at the factory. It has the same trigger type as their smaller centrefire rifles I believe, and those can be tuned to a very decent standard quite easily. I have done them myself in the past.

Does anyone know why CZ use these over a standard trigger?
Is it just something they run on all Cz centrefire?
All response have valid points but I am curious why they are made like this.
Secondly are they reliable or are they less reliable than a non set factory trigger. Are there more parts to go wrong?

I've not known a CZ trigger to go wrong and I've had a number of their rifles. Generally they are very reliable. A little rough around the edges perhaps, but always dependable.

Hi Lance, Hope you well. I collect Mauser rifles and they are very much part of my cultural history in Africa. Would you consider selling the rifle now a year on ? I'd like to place it in my collection of Mauser rifles. Many thx

I saw where you hunted elephant with backcountry safaris in Zimbabwe.
Was looking to book an elephant hunt and wanted to know how your hunt went
and if you would recommend them.

Thanks
Mike
hi, do you know about lions hunters, leopard hunters, and crocodiles hunters of years 1930s-1950s
I'm new to Africa Hunting. I would like to purchase a Heym 450-400 double rifle. I'm left-handed but would prefer a non-canted gun. Is anyone in the community considering parting with theirs?
