Scoped or open sights as a first and back up...

That's a 308 at my club. Now to just see if I can do the same with a 45-120!
I had my eyes done so I have the upper hand there :)
 
And yes I practice as much as I can. Plus I'm in the military so shoot 5.56 open sights a lot in competitions but that's mainly prone or sitting.

To me, practice is practice. You're still doing target acquisition, even if it is slow.
 
Went out with my mate tonight. He shot a rabbit at 60 yards, very clean shot, it was millimetre perfect....which you would expect at 24 power magnification, prone of the bipod!!
Made me giggle. To each his own :)

Start in Billings, Then visit little big horn battlefield,
MT grizzly encounter,
a hot springs (do you have good spots ?)
Looking to buy a 375 H&H or .416 Rem Mag if anyone has anything they want to let go of
