Incorrect...My Ruger .458 Lott has a 24" barrel. As far as I know, every RSM ever made, regardless of caliber, had a 24" barrel.

Yes shuter, VERY nice rifle and deal! I’m surprised Toby 458 hasn’t snatched it up already, as he has actually hunted Cape Buffalo and I have not (yet!), and I have noticed here on AH he likes great deals on African hunting rifles and also sells great deals on the rifles.

Actually, Ruger Safari Magnum rifles have a 23 inch barrel.

Nice rifle and a very fair price, would love to have it but just finished paying the final taxidermy, importer, shipper fee for last years safari,.. Have to pay for the 2020 safari and going to try and lock in a 2021 leopard hunt. So I can't justify the expense. Someone will get a nice rifle.

Have two lotts including a ruger rsm that has been tweaked...So am covered there...and AHR in 404......but as I said with the number of people who seem to like these rugers and it being worked on as it has been, and with the spares it seems a bit of a bargain.......

*Adding an optic to the package for $3,000 shipped to your FFL! I will include the scope that I have mounted on it. I will post a link below, but it's a Japanese-made Weaver 1-5x Dangerous Game scope. It's never been mounted on a rifle before this one, and I've yet to fire it since mounting. I carefully lapped the Ruger 30mm rings with a MidwayUsa lapping kit and mounted the scope...just never have made it to the range with it. I chose this scope because I wanted a true 1x at the bottom end, yet plenty of magnification to pick a shot through brush if need be...this scope has a 100 foot FOV at 1x, and has a 30mm tube. I did a lot of research on this scope and found that it was about the best out there in that magnification range without spending Swarovski-type money. It's Japanese made...vs China, Philippines, etc. Anyway, they retailed for $800 and sold for $400-$450, as you can see by MidwayUsa link. I will include it for the $3,000 delivered price.
