Here are some photos a video of the Strasser RS-14 that I mentioned earlier. Like a Blaser R8, but with improvements across the board. Metal components rather than plastic, all tools required for disassembly are contained within the rifle rather than separate, you can set the trigger to 3 different weights by hand plus push forward for set trigger, barrels come pre-threaded for a suppressor, etc.

All done at the convention. Overall, was great fun. Lots of cool hunts for sale.

Feedback from outfitters is that elephants are selling like crazy now that USFWS has started approving import permits. Dalton and York were super popular, sold out entire quota.

Thanks for posting all the pics.

That rifle is interesting. But to me one of the key features of a handling a Blaser is losing the traditional floor plate length out of the rifle and being a shorter package. Price?

$4-5k for LH magnum caliber depending on options like wood grade, engraved side plates, upgraded bolt, barrel, trigger, etc.

I think Nashville is the best SCI convention I’ve ever attended. It was a very successful show based on what a number of exhibitors told me. Got to visit with many friends, bought another African hunt, looking forward to returning to Nashville next year.

I also thought it was an excellent show. My son and I really enjoyed being there. I heard from outfitters that it was a successful event with very good bookings happening.

A few more photos. The woodwork was really amazing.
The trio of deer was a joy to see as we just did a very successful family hunt in England over the Christmas holiday.
We finished the day in Nashville by attending the Billy Strings concert, which was awesome.
I prefer Nashville to Las Vegas for SCI.
