I find few things worse than selling a gun and then regretting it later. As much as I like to think of guns as tools, they have far more soul than a cordless drill.I built a 416 Taylor in 1998 out of a Ruger 77 tang safety in 458 Win it was a brutal rifle in 458 , Douglas bbl same profile as the 458 fitted the same open sights ,i got the sights from the Australian Ruger distributor & sold the 458 bbl, got Redding dies, made brass out of 458 & 338 Win it fed well, & was much more easy to shoot than the 458 . in a fit of stupidity i sold it to buy something else i now regret selling it.
