San Francisco Bay Halibut

Ended the day with 4 Keeper Halibut and 1 Striper. Had shakers too…

Wind picked up early, water got muddy. Came in early. Boat cleaned up and I’m prepping for fresh fish!

In Alaska, we called the little ones chickens and they are by far the best eating. The big barn doors are tough and grainy. Looks like you had excellent weather. I bet those tides can rip pretty good.

California Halibut vs Pacific Halibut.

California Halibut are a lot smaller and much more tender and delicious. Having caught and eaten plenty of both, I prefer California Halibut and then (Chickens)…

Looks like a day well spent. We're heading to Alaska soon for some Halibut and Salmon fishing. The weather won't be as nice, but it's unbelievably relaxing.

I miss halibut fishing…relaxing with moments of trying not to be pulled over the side by a fish on the bottom of the ocean….head shakes that rattle your elbows….yea man.

Great trip, looks like a great time

Out of interest do you not bleed flat fish? Usually a cut near the tail

When you hang around Jay, you know you’ll be on fish. Good strategy!
Jay, the rest of the fleet, and the 200 Private boats that were there in the Berkeley flats! I know you fish that boat, so I thought I’d send you a pic…

My father worked party boats and comm fished when he was a kid and in his 20’s and so did I.

Good morning. I see that you had a Sauer 202 for sale for $3,000. Did you sell it at that price?
I have one for sale as well. I listed it (on here ) at $3,000 as well. Is the price high, low or right where it should be?

Thanks. Alex. [redacted] in case you want to call me to discuss further. I appreciate your time help and support.

Dave, I could use both of them if still available. I just picked up a new .22 mag and a .22 pump that they would be perfect on.
