Heading out tomorrow morning on the New Lo-An for 2 days out of Point Loma San Diego.

Left Nor-Cal (Bay Area) at 5:30am in my truck with my business partner and long time fishing partner (Mike). Made good time with one bathroom stop. The F-250 (Deisel) averaged 20 MPG and made it on one tank. Driving about 70mph. I don’t drive this truck much, but it is handy for hunting and fishing! And it tows my big boat well…
We had flights, but canceled to take my truck and to bring (3) 150 quart ice chests in hopes to bring back plenty of fish (Fingers Crossed). We also brought 5 rods each (25lb to 100lb) setups on 2 Speed reels so we should have all classes covered…
Of course I’m like most fisherman and superstitious, so we probably would have been better off flying!
Found parking right outside the Hotel on the street. The big shell locks on my truck so the ice chests should be safe…
Nice lunch at Jimmy’s Famous.

Hit up the local Tackle shops at Point Loma and got some bite leaders and terminal gear.
Got in a nap after lunch and a 4.5 Mile walk around the harbor this evening.
I’ll try to post an update in the morning. Boarding at 8:00am. Otherwise, I’ll post results after we return.
Wish me luck…
