Sako Kodiak 338 Parts Wanted

Upon returning from a recent moose hunt it was discovered that one set of x pins from the rifle was MIA!! According to Sako and other gun parts suppliers this piece is out of stock or discontinued???? Anyone have a line on a set b4 breaking out the lathe and getting creative?? Any help is graeatly appreciated!!!!

What are the measurements. Like diameter of end nuts. Length of shift and diameter of shaft.

Are they unique to Sako? Is it possible that Sako use a standard size crossbolt manufactured by others.

Shouldn’t be difficult to have something similar made or sourced. I’m a SAKO fan and wishing you best of luck…

You can recreate that with the correct bar/bolt stock, a vice, and a simple die with the same thread pattern. I would guess that the threads shouldn't need to be cut the entire length of the stock? Not sure about the end cap; if you are missing one of those? SAKO Collectors forum?
