A sweet deal on this piece. It had not been fired. I only weigh 150lbs and will not shoot it. Got it in an estate sell along with a few other rifles. Got a great deal on it. Collectors item nobdoubt. 3900 boo. Partial trade will be considered. Looking for pistols possibly kimber or maybe glock 40 and $$.
Price is Definatly negotiable...

Im in the UK so getting the rifle over to me would be a PIA. But to your whole thing about being 150lbs is BS.

I have a 505 Gibbs that I shoot on a regular basis and Im only 65KG/143lbs. Try it you might like it.

143lbs. I think I once ate a roast that big. @norfolk shooter watch your back during the apocalypse, you are approaching food-sized proportions.

All good fun. All the best. Agree with you, a 500 Jeff with the right powder can be a manageable gun to shoot.

The OP should have no issues finding a buyer, especially with the 100 pieces of brass krish just listed adjacent to the ad.

No that is part of the reason I wont shoot it. And is feel a single round fired thru makes it not unfired anymore

OP where are you located?

Any interest in a brand new 500 jeffery? Not a round fired thru it. Im to scared to shoot it. Got it out of a gunsafe in a house that was in probate. They auctioned everything off and i pretty much stole it. Legally tho. Haha. I would take 6500
Is this the same rifle you referenced from another thread? Coming down from $6500 to $3900 “boo”. That’s a pretty big difference in price.

How much powder behaving the 505? There is 560 on the jeffery
sorry im not with you?? I shoot a 600grn bullet but have some 535 too

Pretty big woops! I can understand though, I post too often from my phone and my fat fingers plus a liberal biased spell checker can create a few errors;)

I'd strongly suggest you PM the moderators and have that edited...

If someone is interested in buying this rifle, I have a new set of EAW 25mm pivot mounts that I will sell to the buyer for $200, new price being $549

I just checked the QR code and it says it’s not available in LH? Too bad…

Where are you located?

PS: Make sure you use the correct pronunciation! It’s SAKO, not Sako….

OP, you are all over the map with your price on this rifle…$3500, $3900, $6500 and now $8900. I feel like I am watching an episode of The Price is Right.

A new member who signed up just over a week ago, listing a rifle with ever changing price seems a bit odd to me. I don’t mean to rain on your parade but for a prospective buyer, I would approach this with caution.

I would walk away.....
