I really love the rifle. It shoots amazing with Lapua Mega 185. It has 1" Leupold direct rings and a spare magazine.
Pictures dont do her justice. I have, on order, an OSUMA Aimpoint mount from optic trade that I can include for $100.
Scope not included.
Ships CONUS $2500

Front site is a globe, for sure.
OPTIC TRADER sent an email yesterday that the OSUMA Aimpoint mount in in route.

Is this considered push feed, CRF, or something completely different?

A bit of both....
SAKO says CRF.... Others say push.
Whatever it is, it works.
The Sako 85 has a short, rotating extractor. The bolt face does not have a lower lip, allowing the cartridge rim to slide up under the extractor during feeding, just like CRF actions that have long, non rotating extractors.

So, while it does not have a Mauser style extractor, it feeds the same and can be considered CRF. However, it obviously doesn't have the same extraction "strength" of the Mauser style.

Outstanding description.
As to the trade offers I have received...
I really would only be interested in a 90 Bavarian that's threaded. Either 308 or 30-06.
My days of hunting without a suppressor are over. The amount of suburban encroachment has me wanting to be as low impact as possible in the remaining spots I have to hunt.
I sincerely appreciate the offers, though.

Do you have any selling references on AH? Would this ship private seller to FFL or FFL to FFL?

With the short stout barrel the rifle has.

I’m sure you could trim the length of the front sight base length. Then have the barrel threaded. You would have to nice short suppressed rifle

If I had a competent local gunsmith I would opt for that. However, it's going be much easier to sell this and get a 90 that's already threaded.

I have been using a "Personal Property" rider on my State Farm homeowner's policy to cover guns when I travel with them.
I have several firearms, but only one is worth over $20K (A Heym double rifle).
Very interested.
Would firearms be covered for damage, as well as, complete loss?
I'll can let the State Farm rider cover my watches...

trperk1, I bought the Kimber Caprivi 375 back in an earlier post. You attached a target with an impressive three rounds touching 100 yards. I took the 2x10 VX5 off and put a VX6 HD Gen 2 1x6x24 Duplex Firedot on the rifle. It's definitely a shooter curious what loads you used for the group. Loving this rifle so fun to shoot. Africa 2026 Mozambique. Buff and PG. Any info appreciated.
