I agree. You know what I think we should have done? I think US Customs should have declared last week that they WILL NOT update any 4457 forms issued for guns unless there is a material change to ownership, caliber, etc. All this in the name of reducing paperwork and labor costs.

The consequence? RSA would be out of business if they don't immediately change their policies. Instead, SAPS won and they are wagging the dog. We all need new 4457 forms with 2017 signature dates on them. The US gov't and the hunting customer are chasing bureaucrats in RSA needlessly. If SAPS was put on public notice that their policy ended sport hunting effective immediately I assure you they would have tucked tail and reversed course. Instead, they won.

may I suggest Intaba Safaris in the East Cape by Port Elizabeth, Eugene is a great guy, 2 of us will be there April 6th to April 14th. he does cull hunts(that's what I am doing) and if you go to his web site he is and offering daily fees of 200.00 and good cull prices. Thanks Jim
