Safari Club International Convention 2012 in Las Vegas

SCI is on the move! The 2012 annual SCI convention will be held in Las Vegas for their 40th Anniversary Celebration.

SCI convention dates are February 1 - 4, 2012.

SCI convention registration open April 1, 2011.

Hotel reservations open March 1, 2001 with limited room blocks. If you want to stay at one of the Headquarter Hotels make your reservation early, for more information visit www.showsci.com.

I am so happy to see it going to Vegas! It will be a lot easier to get in and out of, less expensive, and more things to do for the wife. I know exhibitors are not real thrilled, but i am!

I personally am very happy to see the convention in Vegas for '12. I'm fully expecting a great turnout since it has been several years since the show was there and the plan is for a bigger show than ever. Vegas has better weather than Reno and in my mind just a nicer destination.

I'm booked at the Luxor that is physically connected connected to Mandalay Bay but substantially less expensive than Mandalay Bay that hosts the Convention. Might be worth looking into if you don't have a room yet.
