Sad news RIP

One more link in remembrance and yes, Fleetwood Mac has been far underrated. In my mind's eye, ear this will forever be the trademark sound I associate with the group.

Going to Miss you Chrissy

Condolences to her family, friends, and the many fans of Fleetwood Mac.

I enjoy there style music, especially in my (our younger days), as their music created the atmosphere for a lot of dating and hanging out memories.

Many don't realize she was an incredible songwriter. My favorites written by Christine ....

And a tribute to her "Everywhere"

Thank you, Red Leg. Reliving the memories of an awesome band.

Christine McVie was the consummate Musician, Vocals, Keyboards, Live Performance. She really did a concert. Like I don't mean "maybe".

Fortunate to have seen Fleetwood Mac perform in the New Orleans Lakefront Arena in 1993-94
(can't remember too many beers ago)

Fleetwood Mac killed it in concert. One of the best experiences in NOLA Music.

Like it was yesterday, one evening I was sitting in the mobile home of a friend and his wife in a small boom town. We were visiting about contract uranium mining, hunting, drinking coffee and listening to music. They put on a tape (?) of Fleetwood Mac. One of the pieces was Rhiannon. That was 1975. Yep, like it was yesterday. What an indelible impact on memory!

This live appearance on Sugarman's Midnight Special show in 1976, IMO, permanently cemented the distinctive Fleetwood Mac "sound" into America's music psyche. This performance of Rhiannon with Stevie Nicks as lead vocal has to be a defining moment for her and for the band. I notice Mick Fleetwood watching, to his right, either John McVie on bass or Christine McVie on keyboard (piano) to synchronize his percussion timing.

Hi Jay,

Hope you're well.

I'm headed your way in January.

Attending SHOT Show has been a long time bucket list item for me.

Finally made it happen and I'm headed to Vegas.

I know you're some distance from Vegas - but would be keen to catch up if it works out.

Have a good one.

Mark
