Sable Hunt Special South Africa 2017 $4,400

Photo's shown. Pictures worth a thousand words. The hunt was great. Rouan and his son Brandon the PH were excellent. The hunt was in Limpopo province in the Waterberg mountains. This was my second hunt in 2017. The previous hunt in March was in KwaZulu Natal with WOW Africa at Madaka. It was also an excellent hunt, took six animals. I can recommend both for any one wanting to hunt South Africa.

Holy crap. What a hunt. 3 dream trophies. The buffalo is a stud, but the sable and kudu are awesome too. Congratulations

Well done sir. Congratulation's on some fine trophies.

It sure helps when the hunting gods are with you. Am planning to go back in 2018 sometime.

Congrats on your hunt @oldgringo, THAT BUFF IS NICE!
Can you share a little more on the short notice availability of the bull?

Better Late? I had asked Rouan if there was a buffalo hunt open because of a cancellation and he checked around. None open. A few days later he was contacted and informed a problem/rogue buffalo was causing problems and the land owner wanted to offer it to a hunter. After a little consideration I accepted. Rouan made a phone call to let them know we were coming. The hunt area was two hours farther north in Limpopo. Rouan Brandon, I and three skinners/trackers drove north. Rouan, Nico, and Pieter were back up shooters in case they were needed. Not so. We had a full load on the Rover going back.

Congratulations, fantastic trophies! What a nice buffalo.

Good Afternoon,
How firm are you on your Dakota 416? I am highly interested but looking at a few different guns currently.

Best,
BJ

What is the minimum you would take.

I have a Chapuis 450-400 double that looks brand new and shoots well, never been hunted from what I can tell. I am willing to part with it as I have a 375 H&H Sodia on it's way from Dorleac & Dorleac. I am looking for $9,250 for it and if you are interested, I am happy to send you some pictures. Regards,
Steve
